Why CSC?

You really should contact David (me) and ask that question in person.

Properly setup and designed systems simply work.

In the last 90 days the comments I have received from new clients has been:

"I thought you were b.s.ing me about how different your approach is, I've heard it before and have gone through 3 techs in the last few years, and not even the big name contract companies are any better - your different, you deliver."

I took that as a compliment.  Another new client who's office we deployed from the ground up:

"I wish I used you for the last office I openned up, it is so weird to just have everything working properly."

WHAT IS YOUR RATE?

Before I answer that question I need to explain something anyone reading this.   I am probalby at least 400% less expensive than anyone you've ever hired to work for you.

I noticed some of the "Big Names" have gone to alcart pricing.  Example "Installation of a secured wireless network router"  $350.00, well considering the level of service they are doing and that takes 15 minutes, their rate is $1,400 an hour.

People don't think.   I watched a network technician for a local big name service company do his job, setting something up on 4 systems.  It took him at least 3 times as long as it would of taken me.   Nice guy, knowledgable, different approach to how to get things done.

Most people do not know that it takes about 18 hours to take a computer off the shelf and install all the updates, patches, security and application for anyone.   Even Grandma's system.  (Grandma got a new computer earlier this year.)

Sounds kind of nuts doesn't it?  But its real.   That guy that came in for an hour and got everything plugged in an charged you between $200 and $400 didn't do much.

I recenlty deployed 4 systems (do the math 18 hours x 4 = 72 hours),   my client got billed for 18 hours of work, not 72 hours, yet received 72 hours of work.   How is that possible?  (CSC - trade secret)

I advertise a rate of $200 per hour.    For new clients who's systems have never been setup properly we review the situaiton and create a flat fee plan to get them up to standard.  This saves our clients 10's of thousands of dollars.

All of our clients become "prefered" clients which means they get a discount.   In fact, I often will match another techi's rate just to prove to a new client we're better.

But lets say I don't give anyone a rate.  If I accomplish 4 times as much as someone else, that means, even if the "other guy" knew how to do things right, it would cost you $800, to get done what I get done for $200!!

Every Business NEEDS and IT person, they just don't need them full time.   I've seen the ads around town, I know who my competition is.

The bottom line - an on-site service call is going to cost you at least $200.00, often $300, even if they are there only for 15 minutes.

We do emergency response work too, but why wait for failure is our question?

We'll come in, review your systems and needs and prepare a report.  I charge a flat fee of $500 for this, I'll wave that fee if your nice and I like you and your business.

Most businessed are in a catch 22, they can't afford things done right, they can't afford not to have things done right.   We solve that problem on a case by case basis.

It usually take me about a year to transform a pre-existing mess into a smooth running pro-active office where the drama's of system failures simply don't happen like they use to.

We have clients that are individuals to small offices with up to 10 PC's.   I review each client and the work we do individually.  I really do not have a sliding scale per say, but as a small business I exercise my right to not bill the crap out of my clients.

Once we have the IT stuff handled, we work on helping our clients increase their business revenues through proper deployment of Internet marketing.   I usually end up helping my clients grow their businesses to a point that the costs of having CSC care for them is covered in time.

My goal is to become the most expensive IT consultant in the region.   The only way that can happen is if my clients become the most profitable businesses in the area, then I'll bill the crap out of them (laugh), and they will welcome it.

Until then, our business is up close and personal.  We know what we are doing at a level nobody else that we've ever met does.

We don't cost people money, we save them money by getting the work done right.   I could raise my rates to $400 an hour!, and I'd still be about half the cost of what you are paying now for people who really don't know what they are doing at the level we do.

My long term clients realize that they are paying me to keep their systems from failing and going down.   Most of you out there are running your businesses on computers, they are the core brain of your operation - you don't have time for failures like larger businesses can.

When your main system goes down - you're often down.  Most professionals in the area are not HIPAA compliant, it really doesn't take much extra to do security right.   Folks don't know what they don't know and most of the geeks over complicate everything.

We have the right tools, knowledge and experience.

The Big Question you should be asking about that new system that your geek just deployed for you for $200, and spent 30 minutes deploying - most of which was unboxing it - what are they missing?

What is the effect of the 17.75 hrs of work per system not getting done?  Identity theft, HIPAA violations and fines, law suits against your company, total data loss of your customer data, data corruption, inability to work productively, lots of things.

Don't take my word for any of this.  Call me, lets talk and let me take a look at your systems I can give you an idea of where you're vulnerable and things we can do and an outline of costs.

That won't cost you anything.  I don't want or need a lot of clients.  I can only take on a new small business client a month.  My business comes mainly from referals.  My website is just a place for me to play with different marketing ideas.

We do not have a volume of clients because we invest in quality not quantity.  If your looking for "cheap", go hire someone out of the nickle ads.   Effectively I'm usually less expensive than they are anyway (laugh).

My smart clients view me as a part of their business team.

Thanks for reading this far.   You should give me call or drop me a note and lets see how I can help transform your business and technology.
